Join me for hands-on sewing lessons in Columbia, MD! For complete beginners, or to regain past skills, I’ll guide you step-by-step in a relaxed, patient, and fun environment. Let’s get your sewing machine out of the box, as you learn to confidently sew.
Class details:
Days: Saturday or Sunday, 9-11 AM or 2-4 PM
Cost: $70 per person, with a class size cap of 4 students
All machines and supplies will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own machine if you wish. If you plan to bring you own machine, please let me know the make and model when you sign up.

Class Options
Complete Beginner 1- You’ll learn the complete basics: threading the machine, winding the bobbin, thread tension, how to operate the machine, how to cut fabric with a simple template pattern, as well as learning essential stitches (straight and zig zag). We will complete a simple project, which you will take home, to practice your new skills.
Complete Beginner 2- Building on the skills from the Complete Beginner 1 class, you’ll learn more sewing machine basics: How to change a needle, different types of needles, how to change presser feet, and how to sew curves. We will complete a simple project, which you will take home, to practice your new skills.
